Sift Laureana Cafe, founded by Mr. Kristian Gildo Cayabyab, began as a passion project during the challenging times of the pandemic. On July 24, 2020, the cafe's journey started with a focus on online sales, offering a variety of delicious and unique cheesecakes, including the fan-favorite Maltesers Cheesecake in a jar, and the crowd-pleasing Ube Cream Cheese Pandesal. These distinctive offerings quickly gained popularity, capturing the attention of many dessert enthusiasts.

As the months passed, the menu evolved and expanded to meet growing demand, with the addition of coffee offerings and on-site carving stations featuring delectable dishes like Steak Porchetta and creamy Potato Gratin. The positive response to these new additions was overwhelming, and in March of 2021, the decision was made to open a physical store in the vibrant McKinley Hill, Taguig City.
